Leveraging our eDiscovery expertise, H&A eDiscovery provides secure, in-house document review services in our new Toronto eDiscovery Centre.
A key element of the discovery process, the objective of a first level document review is to cull the initial data collection by determining the relevancy of each document, resulting in a more manageable dataset of potentially relevant documents for review by senior counsel.
Using H&A's powerful eExamine™ data hosting and review platform, our eDiscovery Project Management professionals and team of contract lawyers and paralegals can provide a fast, efficient and economical alternative to in-house first level document review.
One key to an efficient eDiscovery review is the development of a case specific document review strategy. Our project managers work with counsel to develop a focused review strategy, including creation of custom issue folders and tags to highlight specific issues and channel the efforts of the first level review team.
In eDiscovery, the quality of both the captured data and the processes used to capture and review it can be critical to the successful outcome of a case. That's why H&A has strict quality control protocols in place for every phase of the preservation, collection, review, analysis and production processes. Each control protocol is verified by an H&A eDiscovery forensic specialist, providing defensible audit trails for our clients.
H&A's state-of-the-art eDiscovery Centre can accommodate from 1 to 16 concurrent reviewers. The internal review team approach generates efficiencies through immediate team communication and hands-on project management in a professional environment. Should the need arise, the review team can be augmented by a virtually unlimited number of additional reviewers working remotely through eExamine's web interface.
Our contract review team is composed of Canadian lawyers and paralegals, trained in the use of eExamine. Each team member is also extensively briefed on the review strategies for their assigned case.
